Why ordering samples matters
Samples help you make confident decisions. They show you how a floor really behaves in the light and atmosphere of your home.
Screens and printed brochures can only ever be a guide. Real samples let you check undertones, surface structure and sheen level in daylight, evening light and artificial lighting – exactly how you’ll experience the floor every day.
- compare several colours and textures side by side
- see how the floor works with your kitchen fronts, worktops and furniture
- test how easy it is to clean and how it feels underfoot

How to use your samples at home
When your samples arrive, take a little time to test them properly. It will make your final decision much easier.
- Place samples on the floor, not on a table – this changes how you perceive colour and texture.
- Check them in daylight, evening light and with your normal artificial lighting.
- Move them next to kitchen units, sofas and textiles to see how everything works together.
- Take pictures from different angles – it helps to compare later.
