Laminate Flooring

Laminate is water-resistant but not waterproof. It can work in kitchens if spills are wiped up quickly, but for areas with standing water risk, luxury vinyl may be a better choice.

Grey has been a consistent bestseller for several years and shows no sign of fading. Warmer greige tones in particular have strong longevity as they sit between cool grey and natural wood.

For residential use, 8mm is the minimum we recommend. 10-12mm gives a more solid underfoot feel and better sound performance, especially on upper floors or in open-plan spaces.

In many cases yes, provided the existing floor is flat, firm and dry. It can often go over old vinyl, tiles or existing laminate. Always use the correct underlay and check manufacturer guidance.
