Warranty Information

At Homes & Floors, we partner with trusted manufacturers who stand behind the quality of their products. Each flooring type comes with a manufacturer-backed warranty, giving you long-term peace of mind.

Flooring Warranty

All our flooring ranges include a manufacturer’s warranty, typically from 10 to 25 years. You can find the exact warranty period on each product page.

These warranties are issued by the manufacturer, as they produce the flooring. Our team will, however, support you throughout the process if you ever need to make a claim.

The manufacturer agrees to remedy any defects arising from faulty design, materials or workmanship by repairing or replacing the goods. Neither the manufacturer nor Homes & Floors accepts liability for any additional compensation in respect of such defects.

Warranty Claim Process

To verify a potential manufacturing fault, the supplier requires an independent inspection.

  • You arrange the inspection with a qualified independent assessor.
  • The inspection fee is initially paid by you.
  • If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the supplier reimburses the full inspection cost.
  • You then receive a refund or product replacement.

Without an independent inspection, a manufacturer cannot process a warranty claim.

Before Making a Claim

Most issues arise from installation or room conditions rather than product faults. Please review the following points before submitting a claim:

  • Was the flooring installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions?
  • Was the subfloor dry, level, and fully prepared?
  • Was a moisture barrier used where required?
  • Were humidity and room conditions within the recommended range?
  • Was correct expansion space left around the room?
  • What cleaning products or liquids were used?
  • Could any damage have occurred before installation?
  • Was the correct underlay, adhesive, and accessories used?
  • Was the installer a professional following manufacturer guidelines?

Warranty by Flooring Type

  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT): Long-term residential coverage for wear layer and structure.
  • SPC Rigid Core: Strong warranty due to high stability and durability.
  • Engineered Wood: Structural & manufacturing warranty; wear depends on surface finish.
  • Laminate: Warranty against wear-through, fading, and staining.
